From
age 5 Sherrie was taking lessons in Tap, Modern
& Classical Ballet at Mary Geer Academy
of Dance.
Over the following
7 years Sherrie attained the highest Honors
results in every Tap examination and was awarded
many dance scholarships in each style.
At age 12 whilst performing
a Modern Jazz group routine at a local ballroom
competition Sherrie fell in love with the style,
grace, glamour and glitter of Ballroom.
Sherrie soon started with
dancesport lessons and it wasn’t long
before she was competing. Over the next 12 years
Sherrie stayed loyal to coaches Adele Hyland
